Spay and Neuter

The Spay/Neuter Program was created in 2013 In our effort to reduce the overpopulation of animals in Milwaukee County. We offer Spay and Neuter vouchers for Pit Bull type dogs and cats to individuals that cannot afford the service.

Since the beginning of the Spay and Neuter Program, we have increased the number of dogs and cats spayed/neutered significantly and hope to continue to improve until the the overpopulation in Milwaukee County is no longer a problem.

Since 2013, Friends of MADACC has sponsored over 430 spay and neuter surgeries for the pets of Milwaukee families in need.

To qualify for the Spay and Neuter service, you must:

- Live in Milwaukee County
- Provide proof of low income status
- Be a responsible pet owner

Please remember that we provide this service for only a limited number of individuals per year, and cannot guarantee that you will qualify for this service. If you’d like to submit a request and a picture of your animal, please email us at
