Volunteer Your Way!
Friends of MADACC (FOM) and MADACC both rely on volunteers to provide community and shelter support to the pets of Milwaukee County. Volunteering a few hours a month paws-itively impacts the lives of homeless animals and allows us to reach more pets in need.

Help out at our booth at various festivals throughout the city, or provide hands-on assistance at community events (vaccine clinics, food pantries, etc.) Common volunteer duties include distributing flyers or door hangers for upcoming events, helping sell FOM merch at our fundraising events, helping set-up or clean-up before or after events, and more! Sign up here and we'll add you to our list!
If you have regular availability either on a monthly or weekly basis, check out the opportunities to volunteer within shelter operations. Everything from walking dogs, socializing cats, helping the vet or office staff or working with new families looking to adopt .. no amount of time is too little. If you have a specific skill-set (graphic-design, event planning, donor communication, etc.) we would love to hear from you! Our chairs take on an incredible load of work every year and are always happy to have skilled professionals (or hobbyists!) who are willing and able to provide behind-the-scenes support.
